Dr. Amy Grayson

Dr. Grayson has over 14 years experience in the
field of veterinary medicine and over 10 years
as a practice owner of Lakeview Veterinary
Hospital in New Orleans, LA. In addition to her
work at Lakeview, Dr. Grayson has worked at a
busy emergency clinic and with the LA-SPCA's
Wellness Clinic, feral cat program and
performed countless spays and neuters on
adoptable pets. She also has over 19 years in
the medical field as a registered pharmacist. Dr.
Grayson is well known in the veterinary
community- serving as the Southeastern
Louisiana Veterinary Association’s treasurer for
8 years and as a board member of the
Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association, to
which she was recently elected its treasurer.
She has been appointed by Governors Blanco
and Jindal to serve on the board of the
Louisiana Animal Welfare Commission.
Dr. Jonathan Heintz

Becoming a veterinarian was always the dream
of Dr. Jonathan Heintz. He practically grew up in
a veterinary hospital as his father, Dr. Jim
Heintz, was an owner of Lakeview Veterinary
Hospital for over 35 years. A 2008 graduate of
Tuskeegee University, Dr. Jonathan Heintz was
awarded the Robert Horne Award for
proficiency in Advanced Orthopedic Surgery.  
He has a special interest in small animal surgery
and after graduation, sharpened his skills with
surgical training at the Louisiana Veterinary
Referral Center. Dr. Heintz has also worked in
an urban emergency clinic, as well as, relief
work in several  general small animal practices
in the area.
